OUR VALENTINES

People seeking temporary refuge often arrive in shelters with a single bag. Our gift bags don't address the violence that necessitates our valentines leaving home but we hope it gives them a little boost along their journey of rebuilding their lives.

Putting on lipstick has more to do with how it makes you feel than how it looks - some days that little bit of extra comfort or confidence can make all the difference. Thank you for being that difference.

Each year we make hundreds of bags and distribute them to shelters operated by Safe Horizons Shelters in NYC,, The Elizabeth Freeman Center in the Berkshires, Sanctuary for Families Shelters in NYC & Barrier Free Living in NYC.
