CHECK OUT THE 2020 BAGS!

This truly is a stone soup kind of project. The contents of each bag depends on what you send in. The donations were so abundant this year we were able to give bountiful gifts to 14 shelters, each of which have as few as 16 and as many as 52 families. Photos of representative bags of most shelters are shown. Even though the items in the bags are all a little different it’s important to us that all the bags in each shelter have the same kind of stuff (& number of things) including an assortment of “Lady Gifts” which varied from shelter to shelter.

This tote bag is a little Valentine’s Day present. Inside are some goodies we hope you will find useful & fun. Each is accompanied by prayers & wishes for your wellbeing & happiness from anonymous Valentines in New York & clear across the country. The focus of Valentine’s Day tends to be romantic love but we want to encourage a community love aspect. More than 100 people came together from wildly different circumstances to contribute to these gift bags including: artists, moms, teenage hockey players, school kids, beauty queens, fellow survivors of abuse, veterans, clergy, healers, people who have endured all kinds of difficulty, souls from varying spiritual traditions, & folks who might not imagine they had anything in common, but all of whom want YOU to know we are rooting for your success & wellness. When you look at or use these gifts we hope you will remember this time when you made a big step towards healing, joy & community. We know you’ll look great when you use or wear these little treasures. We hope feel strong & beautiful too! Happy Valentine’s Day!
